"Love Story (Taylor's Version)" is streaming now, later releasing at midnight Friday, Feb. 12, on major platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music

A fearless bid to reclaim an icon'south catalogue starts with Taylor Swift'south new song "Beloved Story (Taylor'due south Version)." Yes, Swift's proclamation to remake her first v albums is finally actually happening. And the full re-recording of her kickoff anthology, now dubbed Fearless (Taylor'south Version) is coming on Apr ix.

For those unaware, Swift engaged in a very public state of war over her offset 6 albums. The masters were bought past industry mogul Scooter Braun's visitor Ithaca Holdings from her former record characterization, Big Machine. (Ithaca afterward sold them to the investment fund Shamrock Capital.)

Swift revealed a history of "incessant, manipulative bullying" from Braun and his comrades, including Kanye Due west and Justin Bieber (seen in a photograph shared in her Tumblr postal service documenting the struggle).

For those counting along at home, Swift can't re-record Reputation until v years after its 2017 release due to contractual reasons.

In the Instagram postal service announcing the re-recorded version of Fearless, Swift included a notation with a little Easter egg. All of the capital messages, when compiled together, spell "April 9th."

Swift's Instagram explanation notes that Fearless (Taylor'southward Version) will include a total of 26 songs, "including vi never before released songs from the vault."

This is just the latest slice of proof that Swift has had the nearly productive pandemic of anyone, following her 2020 albums Folklore and Evermore.
